WARREN, OHIO, May 5, 2008 -- WCI Steel, Inc., announced today that, effective immediately on new orders accepted, it will implement a minimum base price increase of $75.00/NT ($3.75/cwt).
With this announcement, WCI Steel’s transaction base prices – ex works - are as follows: HR Sheet (C<.30 max) - $1,125/NT ($56.25/cwt); CR Sheet (C<.30 max) - $1,225/NT ($61.25/cwt); and Hot Dipped Galvanized $1,245/NT ($62.25/cwt). Appropriate extras are in addition to the above base prices.
